Our special recipe:  Black Assam CTC tea mixed with semi-sweet chocolate. A favorite among our American visitors in the Czech Republic. The infusion has a seductive sweet aroma. Served with milk, local honey, and two Bohemian spicy nuggets on the side. Available decaf as well.

Memories of India!  A black Indian Assam tea simmered in milk and strongly sweetened, prepared in the traditional way. It is poured into a 10 ounce mug with an uninterrupted shout of “chai, garam, chai” – meaning “tea, hot, tea” just as it is prepared in India. A good tea for reminiscing about glorious journeys. This tea may take 10 to 12 minutes to prepare. Available with regular black tea and several decaf options: rooibos, tulsi, decaf black, or chaga.

At-home brewing instructions

Tea for Two

The romance of a dozen roses in beverage form!  We serve this tea in a special pink, double-spouted teapot, pouring simultaneously into two cups for love-struck couples.  A burst of rose arises over the flavor of black tea, sure to awaken the Casanova in anyone.

This tea is not of Russian origin, bit is a blend in the tradition of the 19th century Russian tea trade where caravans would spend sixteen months transporting tea to and from China.  Dobra’s Russian Caravan is our own blend of two Chinese Black Teas: Qi Hong Mao Feng & Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong (Lapsang Souchong).  The taste is full, smooth and slightly smoky.
