We will once again offer this popular tea class covering the six classes of tea – Green, White, Yellow, Oolong, Black, Puer!
Come join us for an introduction to the world of tea, which will explore the origins, production methods, flavors, aromas, and mysteries of high quality loose leaf tea.
This two hour journey through the age old tea cultures and traditions of the Far East will enable you to identify, differentiate between, and appreciate the classes of Green, White, Oolong, Black, and Pu-er teas with brewing advice on how to make the perfect steeping.
$20 in advance, $25 day of, if there’s room. We are limiting the size to 12 participants. Payment must be made at time of sign up to assure the advanced purchase price.
All are welcome to join, and no prior knowledge of tea is required. This workshop will be led by owners Ray Marcotte and Ellen Kanner, and our experienced and knowledgeable staff of Devoteas.
Participants will enjoy an interactive, guided tasting tour of 9 different teas accompanied by light snacks.
Space is limited and fills up fast, so advance registration is highly suggested.
